Real Estate Attorneys: You can make Partner OR work Part-Time (remote, if desired)

Good Afternoon,

I’m working with a thriving boutique real estate firm that is seeking experienced attorneys who have a comprehensive transactional real estate practice.  There are opportunities to join this firm in a couple of different capacities.

1) Counsel/Partner – Fighting to make Partner at a BigLaw firm can be a very frustrating and often unsuccessful endeavor.  If you’re feeling like you’ve hit a ceiling and your firm no longer offers meaningful growth potential, this could be a great time to get in at the ground floor of a growing firm.

2) Part-Time – maybe you’re over the long hours and would like to have a bit more work/life balance.  If so, this very same firm is offering the chance to work on a reduced-hours schedule, including the ability to work remotely.  In this scenario, there would be little to no supervision, so you must be extremely comfortable with managing all types of real estate transactions.

Please contact me today to discuss further!

New Office = New Opportunities

Good Afternoon and Happy Friday! Hopefully, your evening and weekend will NOT be spent in the office.

I’m reaching out today with an exciting GROWTH opportunity with a newly-established office in Los Angeles.

This new office will consist primarily of transplants from other offices so as to maintain continuity in the firm’s culture, office environment and quality of services, but they are looking to add additional stellar Corporate Associates. The Firm is extremely well-regarded and has a very rich history of working with technology and other early stage/emerging company clients.

This is a true “ground-floor” opportunity with potential for immediate and sustained growth. There will be heavy competition for these roles, so working with the right recruiter is crucial. I have an established relationship with the firm, I have successfully placed attorneys there and am personally close with the now-local attorneys – as such, I am in an ideal position to assist you in exploring this role.

Seeking Corporate Attorneys to start L.A. Practice Group

I am very pleased to announce a unique opportunity to LEAD the Corporate Practice in the Los Angeles office of a well-known and very highly-regarded law firm.

My client is an international firm with a significant West Coast presence, and with offices throughout the country.  The firm is full-service and consistently receives accolades for its work across a variety of practice areas.  While the firm does have an established national Corporate practice, there is a strong desire to build out a local team and thus develop a true footprint here in Los Angeles.  Ideally, elements of this future practice would include: emerging growth companies, venture capital, and startup experience, along with the more traditional M&A, finance, securities, etc.

The ideal candidate(s) fall into two categories:

1) A Partner or Group of attorneys with a portable book of business in the $1-2M+ range.  If there are additional attorneys in your group, as well, that would be welcome.  Billing rates can be flexible, but the book must be established and consistent.

2) Senior Associate or Counsel from premier BigLaw firm (no book needed).  Perhaps your BigLaw firm is not supporting your growth and might even be stunting it by turning away potential clients?  Or perhaps the “Path to Partnership” remains ever-elusive and you’re inclined to explore a new, realistic path.  This could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

Please contact us today to discuss further.

This Book of Business Can Be Yours

I am very pleased to share this exciting opportunity.

A seasoned Real Estate Partner in the Los Angeles office of an international firm has plans to retire at the end of this year.  He is currently seeking an attorney to help service his existing clients and, ultimately, take over his book of business, which has consistently been in the $500k – $600k range.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a Senior Associate/Counsel/Junior Partner with a portable book of business that would keep him/her busy about 30%-40% of the time.  The remaining hours would be helping to service the business of the retiring partner.  Billing rates are in the $500-$600/hr range but are flexible for the right person.

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience and mentorship under a terrific Partner, on an international platform and with the promise of a sizable book of business in the very near future.

Please reach out today so that we may discuss the firm and opportunity further.

We may have started a new year, but the demand for real estate attorneys remains as strong as ever!  So, now that you’ve received your bonus, there’s nothing standing in the way of getting your dream job.

We have a number of client firms (of varying sizes and types) that are seeking experienced real estate attorneys with experience in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint venture, financing, etc.  Now is a fantastic time to leverage this high demand for your services and leverage this position of power.  Perhaps you want to make more money?  Or perhaps you’d like to get on a Partner track with real potential, not just the “promise” of partnership sometime in the distant future.  Either way, we have opportunities of all kinds to fit your needs.  Even if you’re a senior attorney (7-10 years), I have positions that do not require a portable book.

Perhaps you feel that now isn’t the right time to make a move, however we do have a referral program! If you refer a candidate whom we ultimately place, we will pay you a bonus, so reach out and/or refer today!
