I am very pleased to announce a unique opportunity to LEAD the Corporate Practice in the Los Angeles office of a well-known and very highly-regarded law firm.
My client is an international firm with a significant West Coast presence, and with offices throughout the country. The firm is full-service and consistently receives accolades for its work across a variety of practice areas. While the firm does have an established national Corporate practice, there is a strong desire to build out a local team and thus develop a true footprint here in Los Angeles. Ideally, elements of this future practice would include: emerging growth companies, venture capital, and startup experience, along with the more traditional M&A, finance, securities, etc.
The ideal candidate(s) fall into two categories:
1) A Partner or Group of attorneys with a portable book of business in the $1-2M+ range. If there are additional attorneys in your group, as well, that would be welcome. Billing rates can be flexible, but the book must be established and consistent.
2) Senior Associate or Counsel from premier BigLaw firm (no book needed). Perhaps your BigLaw firm is not supporting your growth and might even be stunting it by turning away potential clients? Or perhaps the “Path to Partnership” remains ever-elusive and you’re inclined to explore a new, realistic path. This could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
